Description
Often times I'm not sure where the inspiration for my work comes from. On this piece, though, there can be no doubt. It was the first work to come out of me after the loss of my dearest friend and greatest influence in my life. The tree represents her strength, beauty, and individuality. The reflection is the dimmed representation of her that she has left behind in me.
